Delete your account

From inside the app

1. Open Andria and go to Settings.
2. Find the Your data section.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Tap Delete my account and confirm when asked.

You need to be signed in for this, because there is no cloud account to delete otherwise.

What gets deleted

Everything associated with the account:

• Your account and sign in details.
• Your chef name and profile.
• Your entire cooking history and every journal entry.
• Your ratings, notes, review answers and saved recipes.
• Your imported recipes and their stored cover images.
• Your taste profile, which is calculated from the above and not stored separately.

The 30 day grace period

Take a copy first

If you want to keep your cooking history, export it before you delete. In the app, go to Settings, then Your data, then Privacy, and choose Export my data. You get a JSON file containing everything we hold.

If you cannot open the app

If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, write to support email not set yet from the email address on the account and ask for deletion. We will confirm within 2 business days and complete it within 30 days.

Deleting the app is not the same thing

Removing Andria from your phone deletes what was stored on the device, but if you had an account the cloud copy remains until you delete the account itself using the steps above. Our privacy policy explains what is held and for how long.
